Business networking seems to stay the same on current day Planet Earth. There are tons of earth people who fail to stay in proper touch with their contacts. There are people who love to talk much more than they listen. I have to mention the earthlings who are irresponsible about relationship cultivation and I think I'd be remiss if I didn't mention those who are strictly stingy when it comes to giving out referrals. I don't want to sound pessimistic about the whole deal but it seems that there is no hope.... on Planet Earth, at least! Maybe it's time to look to outer space and seek out new lands and new civilizations. To help prepare you for your long journey, check out these 5 reasons to be a planetary networker; 1. Referrals are freely given by Martians.
Reciprocity is a foundational law on Mars and all Martians know it. "As you give, so shall you receive" is carried in the hearts of all Martians and they feel that they should refer or recommend a worthy candidate to a friend or colleague when the opportunity arises. They'll even look for opportunities to make sure that this happens. All of this while knowing they need referrals themselves. They give without expecting a return referral or anything else for that much. However, they know if they continue to do so, good returns will come automatically. I'd say we should pay attention to this valuable Martian habit. 2. No one is connected like Plutonians.
The year long deep freeze doesn't do much to stop the Plutonians from being strongly connected. I'm guessing it's because of the fact of their constant habit of meeting new connections and never letting their contact base dissolve.
They don't let time pass by without a regularly coming into contact with new faces. They probably found out a long time ago that if they just keep getting introduced and being in the mix, their overall options would increase. Intelligent, are the Plutonians 3. Relationship Development and being Venusian go hand in hand.
The Venusians are wise and know that relationships take realistic time to form. They know that putting their closing skills into hyper-drive is a wrong move.
They are experts at building bonds and know that all things productive will occur as a result of their diligence and attention to detail. They show genuine interest and are passionate about learning anther's goals and objectives. To them, it's all part of the overall process. I hope you have a note pad handy while you're on Venus. 4. Staying in touch is the Mercurian claim to fame.
Mercurians recognize the many ways they can stay in touch with each other. They never miss an opportunity to send an email,communicate on online social networks,or even make phone calls to remain unforgotten. They never have to worry about not having someone to contact when it comes to referral or new job time. They stay on the tops of each others minds. How hot is that? 5. Saturn in the home of the best listeners. Saturians run rings around their so called competition. They have the same amount of ears as us earthlings but when their friends, colleagues, and clients talk,they listen abundantly but talk much less. While this is happening, they are gathering valuable information that will help them to be more useful as well as making the talker feel like their words are completely important. Saturians look to understand before being understood and because of this, they are very effective communicators.
