1. Topic. The first thing that you need to think about is the topic that you're going to explore. As an internet marketer, its best if you choose those topics that are highly in-demand (so you can easily capture the attention of your target audience) and those that are aligned to the products that you sell (so you can easily pitch in your offerings and at the same time, showcase your expertise in your niche). 2. Research. Even if you know the ins and outs of your chosen topics, I still highly recommend that you do your research. This is not only to get up-to-date information but also to figure out the kind of information that were already given out by your competitors. You would want to make sure that your articles will stand out from the crowd. Knowing what's out there can help you easily determine the best information to include in your copies. 3. Titles. You will not struggle in getting people to open your articles if you learn the art of writing snappy, eye-catching titles. Here are some tips on how you can do it right; use only powerful words. Try to target the emotional hot buttons of your audience. Make it benefit-driven and very descriptive. Lastly, keep it short and snappy. 4. First paragraph. You don't need to use the inverted pyramid technique all the time but you need to make sure that you'll get your readers at the edge of their seats as soon as possible. There are so many ways to do this; you can present mind-boggling question or tell your readers to read on if they want to get valuable information. You can also present intriguing information or some data that will pique their curiosity 5. Article body. Make sure that you deliver what you have promised on your titles through your article body. If you told your readers that they will get all the answers to their burning questions, ensure that they'll get exactly that. Then, ensure that your article body is easy on the eyes. Use short paragraphs and sub headings. If you're giving out tips or step by step guides, use bullet or number lists. Lastly, ensure that your content is easy to understand. Your readers must not need to check out thesaurus just to get the message that you're trying to get across. 6. Conclusion. You don't want your readers to soon forget about your articles. You want these people to share your copies to their friends and family members as soon as they finished reading them. Ending your articles with a bang can help you make that happen. Leave your readers with compelling information that will leave lasting marks on their minds. 7. Keywords. Don't forget about search engine optimization when writing your articles. After writing your copies and after making sure that they're perfect, start inserting keywords on places where search spiders can quickly find them. Ensure that you follow the recommended keyword density. It will also help if you use other SEO article writing techniques like latent semantic indexing technique which is being considered by giant search engines when they're indexing web articles. 8. Proofreading. This is something that you must not do without. Instead of just running your articles against grammar and spell checkers, I suggest that you manually proofread them. Find and eliminate grammar, spelling, and factual errors. You can also take this opportunity to improve the flow of your content if needed.
