Our world has largely depended on fossil fuels as our primary energy source. This energy source is depleting quickly and the long term consequences of using fossil fuels as energy are beginning to show. Solar energy is an attractive option to look at because it is an energy source that is unlimited and sustainable. It doesn't pollute the environment like what fossil fuels is doing. The only drawback is that the technology for harnessing solar energy is still in its infancy. That means the cost of implementing this alternative energy source can be prohibitive. But as homeowners become aware of the energy problems that we are facing, they have also become more willing to adopt solar related technologies. They offer numerous solutions to help homeowners make the transition from using fossil fuels to powering their entire home with solar power. Having options means that homeowners can work within their budget. Cost is no longer prohibitive. Of course, more expensive solar power system will lead to lower cost per Watt.
