Latest Breaking News - Health - Viewing: Too Much Food And Too Little Proper Exercise Pushes Up Your Cancer Risk Hugely

We all know someone that has been affected by the terrifying disease cancer. The very mention of that word puts fear into the average person. It is the second leading cause of death in our world amounting to one in four deaths and these figures are expected to soar by 2020 as the number of overweight and obese people climbs to unprecedented levels.

By the age of 65 years the average person has a one-in-two chance of getting cancer and a one-in-three chance of dying from it. Even though billions of dollars has been spent on research cancer is just as deadly now as it was 20, 30 or even 50 years ago.

However, cancer is not an inevitable consequence of aging and it is becoming clearer there are close links between poor quality (refined) food eaten and not enough proper physical activity which governs negative body composition changes (muscle/fat ratio) increasing the risks of cancer.

The treatment options for cancer (surgery, chemotherapy and radiation) have now been joined by something very simple yet extremely effective in the war against the most feared disease of all time. This something is proper exercise. Not going for a walk exercise or doing a bit of gardening but proper strength training exercise that works the muscular system through its ranges of movement under a load.
How this works to combat cancer is as follows:

• High insulin levels are one of the main drivers of cancer causing cells to divide and grow more quickly. Your muscles when kept strong soak up excess insulin.
• Strengthening the body with proper exercise also strengthens the immune system and the T-cells that fight infection after conventional cancer treatment has damaged them.
• Toning up your muscles will raise the metabolic rate burning off excess body fat because being overweight lowers survival rates for cancer.
• Strength training exercise will help re-balance hormonal levels and reduce levels of the ones that are linked with many forms of cancer.
• When you are strong you can fight the fatigue caused by cancer treatment. Your stress and anxiety levels are lowered and you will feel more in control of a distressing situation. Your exercise sessions will make you feel that little bit better which helps you cope.

As proper exercise is such a low priority for many people they think that doctors, pills, surgery are the real answer. But you need to be reassured that you can create energy and healing in your own body that no doctor or no pill can every match by giving it the tools it needs to heal itself. Proper exercise and proper nutrition (get rid of refined foods) are at the very top of the list and this is where you need to start.

Whether you have cancer or are at risk for it by being one of the 75 percent of people classified as sedentary, take it upon yourself to get active and strong. This will eliminate the risk of becoming over-fat and under-strong which greatly increases the chances of getting cancer as most people eat too much food and do not do enough muscle building and maintaining exercise. This alone will change the odds greatly so you do not have to fear so much that you will be one of those poor people struck down with this modern day killer disease.
