The fight continues on. Many Marietta residents object to the existence of having title loans organizations within the Marietta area. But as usual, the fight continues between local government, the wealthy residents, smaller less desirable business organizations, and the working poor. This fight is just as radically obvious on the local levels such as Marietta as it is on the national political stage. This is definitely the oldest trick in the bag. What Marietta local officials need to realize, is that not only do these title loans organizations serve a consumer demand, these Marietta Title Loans organizations also bring tax revenue, as well as employment for the local residents. The politicians attempt not to purely boot the Title Loan companies out of town, but rather in a mild suggestive act of making it more and more difficult for them to open locations, and or legislating the interest rates allowed to charge to the point that opening a title loan operation is just not a profitable endeavor. No matter which side of the aisle you stand on, you must take a moment, and ask the question, do you really want local, state, or federal government protecting lower income folks? If so, then don't start complaining when government at any level starts trying to protect you.
