There are at least three forces which are known to push people into making satellite TV subscriptions. The desire to access unique content: it is satisfying to know what others don't know. It is also satisfying to be enjoying exclusive stuff: stuff that others aren't able to enjoy. This, at least, is the way many people feel, consciously or subconsciously. And when it comes to TV, the way to get truly exclusive stuff is by subscribing to satellite TV - seeing that free to air TV is available to everyone who can afford a TV set (which is pretty much everybody nowadays). But if you subscribe to the best satellite TV services, it is indeed possible for you to access content that can't be found anywhere else.
