If you wish to keep your self looking youthful toning up your muscle tissue is the best and cheapest beauty aid available. Having strong muscles improve not only your looks but your body shape and posture as well.

We can get face lifts, liposuction and botox but there is not one plastic surgeon in the world that can sell us all-over, naturally built, vital-looking muscle. When muscles get toned and become stronger they take on a more pleasing shape, tighter and firmer. Lean muscles are taut against the body, as opposed to fat and flab, which hangs and sags making a person look and feel older.

If you really want to retain your youthfulness forget the expensive procedures and get yourself started on a proper exercise program that contains mostly strength training exercise. This will rejuvenate all of your body cells stopping the aging process dead in its tracks.

Most people who still look radiant and youthful past their 30s and 40s are not people who have suddenly found some miracle pill but rather they have most likely have kept their strength and fitness over most if not all of their lives. Exercise also increases circulation and the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to the skins cells making your skin look more youthful. People who exercise on a regular basis have fewer wrinkles and look so much younger compared to people who do not make time to exercise.

Combating the aging process isn't only for those with crowded birthday cakes. The earlier we begin preparing for those later years, the better we can minimize their impact on us. Proper exercise will make you "younger," no matter how old you are. It will also make you stronger, more flexible, healthier and fitter, improve your endurance, your balance and increase your energy levels.

It is never too late to start doing something about your health and fitness, and it should be seen as an investment, because it is something that builds, increases and strengthens as time passes by. You can wipe away 10 -20 years of inactivity with just a few months of performing a proper exercise program. Now that is really reclaiming your youth.

Without question, no other physical activity has more of an impact on your overall health and well being than strength training. Our bodies were designed to respond to physically challenging situations. When you add physical activity back into your life you can become trim and fit, reduce the risk of chronic disease, relieve fatigue and anxiety and regain the youthful enthusiasm and energy you need to live your life to the fullest.
