It is a sad state of affairs when today's society believes that health and wellness can be found in a pill. Billions of dollars is invested into drugs and research while a steady decline in health has been occurring since World War II and has now reach epidemic proportions. Millions of people around the world are suffering with painful, crippling preventable diseases because they have violated basic health principles.

It is a fact that one out of every two of us has a chronic 'lifestyle' disease and many have multiple conditions that seriously hinder their enjoyment of life. Two thirds of us are overweight or obese and many more people do not feel 'well', are tired, listless and apathetic and hardly have the energy to get through the day.

The economic impact of preventable diseases goes beyond the cost of medical services. Indirect costs, such as those from lost productivity and from families having to care for these people long term can match or sometimes exceed the direct costs. Add to that the premature deaths of primary wage earners and skilled workers affect both households' income and countries' economies.

Although people have been told over and over they need to exercise if they wish to stay healthy somehow they are not listening. They continue to play Russian roulette with their health thinking somehow they will be 'lucky' and get away with it. How can you expect to be 'lucky' when you have a 95% chance of contracting a chronic lifestyle disease if you allow your body to weaken and succumb to disease through inactivity?

It is no longer 'optional' in our sedentary and inactive world to get and stay physically strong right through adulthood. It is not a 'luxury' or a frivolous thing. It is simply 'do it or die'. After all how inconvenient is it to have to go to the gym 2-3 times each week to do your strength training program? Isn't that less inconvenient than dying?

Take it upon yourself not to be a victim as these deadly diseases can steal your health, your mind, your life savings, your dignity and your future. You can protect yourself from 80% of these diseases through taking the time to stay strong with muscle building and maintaining exercise and your healthy nutrition plan. These are low cost strategies that require no prescription drugs and are available to everyone.
