For all of us who have to go thru the pain associated with migraine headaches, every two to three weeks perennially, as if a sledge hammer is hitting the head continuously, the associated nauseating feeling, the loss of appetite, inability to venture out in light even for a short while when there are so many important pending issues which need our constant attention.
It all gets so frustrating making all of us feel, why, for what fault of ours? It's much worser than having a bad vice and we being penalized for it as there is no justification in this case, its as if we were the unlucky ones chosen with this terrible irritant. It is just there and bang-bang-bang it keeps on and on disturbing our day to day routine life and takes total control without any fail. Again the dreaded regular visits to the clinics, disruption in the work routine and the loss of continuity in our work flow, loss of producie hours, high medical expenses all adds up to frustrate us further. Spending around 300 dollars month after month for the pills in many cases, even shuddering to think of the long term adverse effects of these pills that are causing to our overall health and well being. It's not uncommon to find many cardio vascular complications at later stage associated tracing back to migraine. Ever wondered why there is a continuous supply of medications, but no permanent cure proposed. Think who benefits in that way if we are dependent on medications and our system develops an immunity to it, maximum providing a temporary relief for the headache to resurface in due course. Each month we loose at least four to five productive days to this unwelcome nuisance that takes control over us completely making us feel terrible all the way. The cycle continues with out any respite for us. Size of this industry is more than that of GDP of several countries. At least 40% of the countries have GDP less tha 40 billion dollars. In US alone the overall cost of migraine has been calculated to close to 15 billion dollars annually and that is excluding the cost of business and the lost productive manhours. In Europe its eating away more than 25 Billion Pounds every year. Such heavy expenditure should be completely avoided and done with. Surgery could be a permanent option/solution for an individual but is highly expensive - doesn't come anywhere less than 3000 dollars, and that's no cheap for any of us. Is there a tried and tested solution that gives permanent relief, free from any side effects, gives immediate results, is available for immediate use and does not burn out pockets.
