Here are the seven creative tips that can help you succeed when you use outsourcing: 1. Know what you want. Before you go ahead and search for ghostwriters, I suggest that you get to know exactly what you're looking for. Get your pen and paper and list down your requirements. How many articles do you need? How much are you willing to pay for each article? What is your required keyword density and word count? How would you like your articles to be written? The clearer your requirements are, the easier it will get for you to find the perfect person for the job. 2. Find ghostwriters. There are several ways on how you can find your service providers. Start by asking for recommendations from your colleagues who have previously outsourced their articles. You can also explore freelancing sites or Google search the personal websites of ghostwriters. 3. Interview the best candidates. Shortlist at least 3 ghostwriters who are fit for the job. Then, conduct one-on-one interviews to get to know them more. Verify their skills, ask for their online portfolio, and get them to write a sample articles for you. 4. Choose the best ghostwriter. Of course, you would want to work with somebody who have the needed skills and experience. Sign up with those people who have previously written articles about your niche. These people must have proven track record and they must mean business in giving you 100% satisfaction. If they were recommended by your colleagues, make sure that you mention that in your conversations. People are most likely to perform better if they know that you expect a lot from them. 5. Give your service providers detailed project description. Give these people a clear picture of what you're looking for via email (so they have something to refer to). Then, encourage them to ask questions. Don't let them get started until they fully understand what you're looking for. It would be great if you ask them to write the first 3 articles and you give them feedback. This is way better compare to letting them write all the articles and ask for so many revisions later on. 6. Payments, deadlines, copyright issues, etc. Never assume that your ghostwriters understand that they cannot use the articles that you have paid for. For your own protection, get everything that you've talked about in writing and get these people to sign the documents. Also, talk about payment terms and deadlines. 7. Check the articles. Make time to read all the articles written by your service providers. Make sure that they're expertly written and that they're perfect. This is important as these will serve as your image in the online arena.
