As a keyword article writer, you need to keep in mind that you are not only writing for search engines; you're writing for your readers as well. As such, you need to know how to balance your content and the amount of keywords that you're using. Here's how you can do that: 1. Start by knowing the most searched terms and phrases in your chosen niche. You will be happy to know that there are so many reliable keyword suggestion tools that you can use for free these days. These tools will give you a list of the most in-demand keywords and keyphrases in your chosen niche. They will also offer you with information that can help you gauge the competitiveness of each keyword. As much as possible, target those ones that are less competitive. The lesser the competition, the higher your chances of making your articles appear on relevant search page results. 2. Pick a good topic. Choosing the best topics for your articles will become a lot easier after knowing the most searched terms in your chosen niche. All you need to do is to convert these keywords into article topics. For example, you may write an article that contains amazing article marketing tips if your target audience are constantly searching for the phrase "article marketing 101." 3. Offer great content. Prioritize your readers over SEO. It is very important that you impress them as this is the only way to get the response you need from these people. Start by offering them with complete, detailed, and useful information. Ensure that each of your articles contain data that can help these people in their endeavors. Then, write your articles based on your target audience's level of comprehension. Use only those words that they're familiar with. Keep everything simple so you can avoid causing confusion. Lastly, make your articles short, tight, to the point, easy to skim through, and concise. 4. Optimize your articles. Now that you're finished writing your article, the next thing to do is to make them search engine-friendly. Start with your title. Ensure that you'll start it with the keyword that you're targeting. Be careful not to repeat the same keywords on your titles. Then, insert the keywords on your article body. It's best if you put them on each of your paragraphs and they must be at least 100 words away from each other. Right now, the acceptable keyword density is somewhere in between 1-2%. That means, you'll get to use your keywords 3-6 times on articles that contain no less than 300 words. 5. Check your articles. Review your articles not only to make sure that they're free from grammar, typo, syntax, and factual errors but also to make sure that your keywords fit in. They must not sound like you just needed to put them there otherwise, you'll surely turn your readers off.
