When we are young we hardly give a thought to our skin and how the aging process will one day affect the condition and appearance of it. However, aging changes start to show up in the skin as the years go by and will progress as we get to our 30's, 40's and beyond. At one point in time wrinkles were a good sign as they had been earned through hard work, maturity and experience and were considered a sign of wisdom. But today's culture is quite different and looks at wrinkles in a completely different light. Remaining youthful is what everyone wants these days and our entire fast paced world is geared towards the young at heart, the young in mind and the young in body. So, how do we keep up with it all? How to we continue to compete and compare? Many people think the answer is in anti-aging treatments, surgery, injections, pills, potions and creams and millions of dollars is spent on these is the hope of remaining youthful. Yet something very simple can have a much better affect than any or all of these largely cosmetic options that mostly are just on the surface of the skin and body. This something simple is called 'proper exercise'. Not going for a walk exercise, or doing a bit of gardening exercise but proper strength training exercise. There is absolutely no better method of keeping your body young and healthy in every way. It provides you with the energy and stamina to pursue all life's necessities and interests. It will fortify your immune system and help prevent chronic conditions that will age you prematurely like heart disease, cancer and diabetes and at least 50 other diseases. It can prolong life and most importantly will improve the quality of that life. If you don't do enough muscle building and maintaining activity not only will you lose your precious muscle strength but your bone strength as well. You may become overweight adding stress to all of your body systems and increase disease risk. It is impossible to combat aging and remain youthful without keeping your muscular system strong and healthy. The condition of your muscles will govern how fast or slow you age. So before you throw away big money on anti-aging cosmetic options make sure you have the most important anti-aging tool firmly in place in your life - your strength training program. If you need help seek out a fitness professional to get you started and monitor your progress. It is without doubt the most important investment you could make both with your time and your money if you wish to remain youthful and young in every way. The earlier you start preparing for the approaching years the better off you will be and the more you can minimize their affect. You can still use anti aging tools on the outside of your body but just make sure you have got it happening as well right down at cellular level. Your strength maintaining program will give you this effectively helping you remain young and could well be the cheapest anti-aging formula available.
