Most men today, especially those with families, are tired of always having to go to the gym to work out and get that muscular body they want. Talk to many these men and they will state their frustration that by the time they come home from work, spend time with their wife and kids, and take care of things around the house, they do not have the time or energy to go to the gym. If this describes yourself, here are some tips on how to build muscle fast without having to spend so much time in the gym: 1. Instead of having to work out 5-6 days a week work out less but smarter and still get the results you want. With the right training program you can still get the results you want by working out just a few days a week. Find a training program that promotes workouts of between 45-60 minutes long, 3-4 times a week. You can still achieve great results but not feel like you have to work out every day. 2. Purchase a few select pieces of equipment that will allow you to do most of your workout at home. I purchased some adjustable dumbbells and a chin up bar as two vital pieces of equipment that has helped me, with a little creativity, still build the muscle I want and stay in shape with out having to rely on bulky equipment at the gym in order to get a good workout. 3. Find a program that focuses on nutrition as well as your workouts. Having the right nutrition is important, in fact much of your results will be dependent on the right nutrition! For example, each of your meals should contain a good sources of carbohydrates and protein. Also having a protein and carbohydrate drink before, and after your weightlifting workout will improve your results. 4. Many programs out their focus either on gaining muscle or reducing fat. However for the best results find a program that allows you to achieve muscle gain and fat loss. That way you will get better, more visible results in a shorter period of time than programs that focus on one or the other. Also don't forget to learn about a bodybuilding program from someone who has checked it out themselves. Usually you will get a better feel for what the program is about and what the pros and cons are to that program. Then you can decide for yourself if it fits your style. All of us men, especially those with kids, agree that staying in shape and having a healthy family life can be challenging.
