Take up tennis! Well, almost. Changing your sleeping position can help stop your snoring. Placing a tennis ball under your bed sheets or sewn into a pocket in your nighshirt at the middle of your back will prevent you from lying on your back, which is one of the main causes of snoring.

Some people swear that by drinking two table spoons of olive oil before bed their snoring is reduced. Although it isn't cured straight away, there is a clear improvement and many suffers say that they are cured totally within two weeks., even if olive oil is not to your taste, consider this home remedy.

Ensuring that your neck is not at an angle to your back is a simple home remedy that can have a positive affect instantly. Getting an anti-snoring pillow or wedge pillow may be your answer here. Many of us sleep with two or more pillows and although this may seem comfortable, but this can actually alter the breathing patterns and this can increase your chances of snoring.
