It is indeed so tough to go through Candidiasis. But, sometimes, the more you know you're not alone, the stronger you will be in fighting the disease. In this article I combine two topics that you may be interested with. These two are different, one is to act as remedy, and another one is about what kind of bread you can take for reducing your candida. Have you ever done a GSE? Chronic candidiasis can be successfully treated with grapefruit seed extract (GSE) according to the many clinics and medical practitioners now prescribing it. Dr Leo Galland, who prescribes it for chronic candidiasis, has reported treatment failure in less than 1% of cases, and considers it to be "a major therapeutic breakthrough for patients with chronic parasitic and yeast infections." There are many other ways to do a purge, like with benonite, for example, which really cuts down on the herxheimer reaction (die off). One of the candida sufferers admits that she is at 50% reduction in pain and brain fog with only diet thus far and she is amazed. Before, she was on guaifenesin for a whole year for her chronic fatigue syndrome / fibromyalgia and that was absolutely horrid, according to her experience. What's even worse than that was of course the emotional / mental problems. During die-off, laxative or even a small enema is worth trying. Die-off is very good but you must just have it sitting in your gut to keep feeling that way. Even the small fleet enema would help. When the die-off is over, a woman decides to have some fun after one year without ever setting foot at a club with friends. But, of course the waiters hate her because she only drinks water all night. Her friends can enjoy tons of beers yet she can't tolerate even a half glass of wine. Her muscle power doesn't allow her to dance more than one song. So, she finds many contented things to do at home. Her latest interest is in beading. It is important to keep your mind busy so you don't dwell on the problems all the time. Now let's talk about the bread. While normal bread is a big no-no for a candida sufferer, there is a gluten-free bread mix that you can buy, which the manufacturer swore would rise find without yeast if you put in extra baking powder. However, this bread mix costs you a fortune and still doesn't guarantee the result. Just like any other bread or cooking, you need a bit of a talent and/or patience to be able to call it a success. Otherwise, you will see your home-made gluten-free bread lay flat only an inch deep. That is just one interesting adventure on your days as a candida sufferer. The 'best' moment as everyone else would second is the notorious Die-Off. No one says it is going to be easy. No one says he or she loves it and can't wait to have more of it in the future. For one person, it lasted over a week, and all the water, milk thistle and vitamin C in the world were not helping her. OF course, there is a lot of emotional breakdown in between, coupling the physical problems like head that spins, brain that's foggy, throat that hurts. But, the bottom line is, you all want die-off. It's good news. So you should welcome it. And, for you who haven't tried Molybdenum because you haven't heard of it, go and try. According to a chiropractor, it is a mineral -- not a medication, but a nutrient, had a blanket reputation for breaking down yeast by-products into forms that the body could excrete. Usually it comes in capsules. Combining that and other things you have been taking religiously plus your strict diet, you, like many others, will get your social life back. You want your friends to invite you again and you want to tell them yes instead of giving them another 'Sorry-not well enough today' sort of excuse.
