Just how do you eat an elephant? The answer will be, "You eat it one bite at a time!" It is the same with any large task, really. Taken all together, it may be formidable. Break it down into parts, steps or sub-tasks, and each of these is not nearly so formidable. The steps will be smaller. They can each be easy enough and "do-able". And once you have completed all the steps, you suddenly realize that you have come all the way up from the beginning to the end of completing the full huge project! It is exactly the same with how to earn money writing online. Listed here are 5 easy steps that you could take to earn money writing online, rapidly! Step 1. Decide what you want to write about. This will mean that you will need to put aside your desire to write fiction, at least for the time being. The online marketplace is a place for information distribution as well as information monetization. But we will get back to that in a moment. Should you neglect this or don't do it, you should expect some areas are more profitable than others. For instance, if 5000 people are searching for information on topic A, but only 100 searches are taking place every month for topic B, then it is clear which topic is worth writing about. Step 2. Become an expert at your chosen topic or niche. This step will be important because you will need to be able to churn out information on that topic. At this point, I do not want you to become concerned, it is not as difficult as it sounds. In fact, the word expert should more accurately be placed in quotation marks as we are certainly not referring to an expert level of knowledge as much as a clear focus. Step 3. Learn to write individual articles on your topic. This will mean that you will be recognized as an expert in your area, when searchers begin to see your name associated with your topic. Step 4. Learn to monetize your topic. This can require a little research on your part. There are article directories that will take your article and place it on their websites and share the profit with you 50/50. This will be an important learning ground as your article become better and better. Step 5. Forget everything you know about writing for offline sources. An important point to remember here is online articles are written for the "browser" while offline resources are written for the more discerning reader. The reason that this could make a difference is those searching for information on the internet are going to skim the article that you have written. Therefore, it will need to be written for the less advanced reader and be presented almost in point form rather than ongoing prose. Now you're almost there! Don't forget, as you progress, you will realize that online writing is different from offline. It is much easier and less demanding.
