In my years of trying to discover the best article writing system, I have found that there are only two steps. Finding the time to write: This is more critical than most people realize. It is one thing to decide that you are going to send traffic to your sites using articles, it is quite another to sit down and write. The answer is to decide what days and times you are going to write. It is safe to say that article writing is not fun or easy for most of us. What is fun and easy is to watch television or play video games. Article writing, if you do it right is work, and just like any other work, you must set aside a time to do it or there is a good chance that it simply won't get done. It is safe to say that you don't want your writing to interrupt your other pleasurable activities. If you have a television show that you like to watch at 9pm Monday nights, then that is fine. Schedule an hour after your show, or better yet, an hour before your show. If you schedule it an hour before your show, then you can use the show as a reward. Try to schedule at least 3 one hour blocks of time per week, and try to write at least 2 complete articles each time. If you can do this, then you will write and submit 24 articles per month. If you can schedule more blocks of time or write more articles during each block of time then even better. Gathering your article ideas. So now you have the blocks of time that you are committed to. What happens if you site down to write and you find that you have nothing to write about? There are two things that I do to combat this problem. First, I always carry a pen and notebook with me. Whenever I get an idea for an article, I write it down. That way, when I sit down to write, it is easy for me to simply pull out my notebook and begin writing from the ideas that have already come to me. The second thing is that I always have a list of, what I call, article idea templates. An example of an article idea template is: What are the benefits of..., what are the best ways to... You would simply fill out the three dots with aspects of your own niche. As an article writer, for example, I would simply have a number of questions written down on paper on or near my desk. What are the benefits of article writing?
What are the best ways to consistently write well?
What are the aspects of article writing that I can cover? Then I simply answer these questions with as many answers as I can think of. This combined with my notes from carrying around my notebook, ensure that I never have a problem finding things to write about.
