Despite the many well known and proven benefits of proper exercise, statistics show that two-thirds of adults are not physically active on a regular basis and a quarter get virtually no exercise at all. Every single day we are all making decisions on what we are going to do and what we are not going to do. So why don't the majority of us make decisions to do things we know will make our health and wellbeing better?

You would think that it would an important goal to ensure that the span of our life is a healthy one and a proper exercise program is a major contributor to this goal. A no exercise lifestyle has been proven to be a major health risk. Each of us has the power to speed up or reverse the aging process. Lack of vigorous activity in ones life can easily cost our health.

We now are aware that decreased health levels are not necessarily part of getting older and that many of the leading causes of death for people between the ages of 25 and 65 are premature and preventable. Research has proven over and over again that personal lifestyle habits, in particular proper exercise and healthy eating either speed-up or reverse disease and aging.

Becoming and staying strong and fit may be the ultimate asset that you can own in your entire life. Think of it this way, if you are willing to invest the time and effort, you will feel and look and be healthier, have an abundance of energy, be more self-confident, be more productive, reduce your disease risk and live a much higher quality of life. This is treasure that money cannot buy.

You have absolutely everything to gain and nothing to lose. Can you remember ever getting a better offer than this in your life? Probably not, and yet many of us fail to take action on this amazing opportunity that could benefit our life so much. We simply choose to procrastinate or pay no attention to the proven benefits of a proper exercise program.

We know that a diet of low quality foods leads to health problems and we also know that a diet of inactivity and a lack of strength building and maintaining exercise also shunt us down a spiral of declining health. You see, our body's need the constant stimulation of vigorous movement to tell our cells to keep our strength otherwise is just dwindles away taking with it our vitality, vigor and energy.

Make your mind up to reserve the time for your exercise program. What can be more important to you than your health? Your own personal wellbeing should be a priority in your life because if you are strong, fit and happy with yourself others around you will benefit as well.

Although there is an outlay of time, effort and maybe money the health benefits far outweigh the cost. Just reducing the risk of the 'big three' heart disease, cancer and diabetes cannot be underestimated.

Imagine being able to easily manage your weight, keep your muscle and bone strength and create tons of energy and vitality. Our busy world is stressful and your exercise program will help reduce that stress and anxiety and will brighten your mood which contributes to a healthy mental state.

You are doing something great for yourself that no one else can do for you in this way and creating a better life for yourself.

We all have just two options: (1) take control, get active, start a strength training exercise program and exercise vigorously and grow strong, energetic and get the most out of every day, or (2) remain inactive and, a some point, risk losing your health. Pretty easy decision wouldn't you say?
