Although he was selected as an alternate, it turns out that White is traveling to Miami and to the delight of many fans, fellow team members, coaches and staff, White is anticipated to play on Sunday. White is replacing Minnesota's receiver Sidney Rice in the Pro Bowl. The 2009 season was one for the books for White who scored 85 catches, a career high of 11 touchdowns and 1,153 yards, making it his third straight season to go more than 1,000 yards. At the same time that White was being included on the Pro Bowl roster, Ovie Mughelli was being named Earthman's Eco Player of the Year. The Ovie Mughelli Foundation works with environmental leaders to provide speaking sessions and football camps to young people ages 8-17 on the importance of being green. In the National Football Conference for the 2009 season, the Falcons were in second place for the NFC South Team with 9 wins and 7 losses. The winning streak was three with the last five 3-2. Head coach Mike Smith is still leading the team to victories with the support of Mike Mularkey as the Offensive Coordinator and Brian VanGorder as Defensive Coordinator.
