1. Always use eye-catching titles for your articles. Here's the truth; no matter how informative and useful your articles are, your target audience will still not take interest in reading them if your headlines are too plain or too boring. Your headlines must talk volumes about the content of your articles; they must be able to help you convince online users that reading your articles is worth their while.

2. Discuss subjects that are interesting to your target readers. There are no hard and fast rules in in the online arena that will prevent you from writing any topics. However, if you want to drive only those interested people to your website, you must be very careful when choosing the topics for your articles. They must be related to the products that you're selling and they must be useful or relevant to the eyes of your target readers. In addition, they must be recent and newsworthy.

3. Research your subjects thoroughly. Check relevant resources to get relevant information and to figure out the best angles that you can target on your articles. As much as possible, explore those angles that were not yet written by other writers so you can easily set your copies apart from the rest.

4. Offer hot information. People will not be willing to spend their precious time reading something that they already know. So, when writing your articles, make sure that you offer your readers with something new or something hot. Keep your eyes open on new information that you can write by checking out relevant RSS feeds before you start writing.

5. Simplify. Don't waste your time looking for big words or fancy terms -- they will not be appreciated by your readers. Instead, exert conscious effort to help your readers easily understand your articles. Always use lay man's terms when explaining your ideas. Also, use short sentences and explain your points using bullet lists or short paragraphs.

6. Entertain your readers. As a writer, you just don't educate your readers. It is also your job to make sure that they are entertained or that they are having a great time when reading your articles. This will happen if your articles sound more laid-back or informal. Write the same way you talk. Then, insert interesting stories or experiences that are relevant to the topics that you're discussing.

7. Stick with facts. Build a good reputation in the online arena by making sure that all the articles you write are based on facts. Use only reputable online resources and make time to verify all your data.

8. Check your articles. You want your articles to be perfect so you can easily impress your readers. So, before you distribute them in the online arena, read them aloud over and over again. Ensure that they do not contain punctuation, grammar, spelling, and other errors. Also, ensure that your content make sense and that it flows smoothly.
